Ricercatezza nei materiali, armonia degli elementi e forte contenuto tecnico sono le linee guida del progetto YC KEMPINSKI RESIDENCE un’importante complesso polifunzionale ubicato a Yinchuan (Ningxia) Repubblica Cinese, progettato dallo studio Urbanprojects di Hong Kong.
Il progetto ha previsto l’utilizzo di pochi materiali, per un linguaggio architettonico semplice ed efficace: rivestimento in cotto con varie applicazioni, pietra e vetro.
Nel rivestimento parietale il progettista è riuscito con maestria ad impiegare vari componenti della Sannini Impruneta, coniugando un materiale storico, ma al tempo stesso versatile per l’Architettura contemporanea. Un’applicazione in terracotta che garantisce la resistenza oltre che meccanica anche all’ossidazione e agli agenti atmosferici; in un’area dalle particolari condizioni aggressive.
L’Arch. Forhad Ullah in sinergia con l’azienda produttrice, specificatamente per questo progetto ha studiato delle particolari pannellature e sistemi di fissaggio; riscontrabili sia nei prodotti estrusi quali la lamella, la piastra e la doga ad estradosso sagomato, oltre che nel Cottostone.
Il cotto è il principale materiale da rivestimento, impiegato in questa realizzazione. Saranno applicate oltre 20.000 mq di superficie, che il “ cotto “ con il tipico colore rosso ordina e concentra con la geometria del disegno e la libera sequenza delle campiture.

The Arch. Forhad Ullah together with the manufacturer, has studied specifically for this project the special panels and fixing systems; found both extruded products such as the Lamella, the Piastra and the T-Element, as well as in Cottostone.
