Special Formats and Accessories
To complete the wide range of its products, Sannini produces various accessories which make it possible to create special terracotta architectural elements with a vast number of uses.
L-shaped elements to finish edges of surfaces for cladding, a cyma with a drip for window-sills or balconies, anti-slip borders for swimming pools and other special formats and pieces, together with the externa series, the elements of urban furnishing and the precious artistic terracottas, make design a free and pleasurable art.
This section is dedicated to the range of fillets and summarizes all the sizes (narrow and long) with their relative thicknesses; they can be found in the catalogue and are divided into various categories according to surface finish. On the following pages the fillets are united to highlight the compositional features of a format that architectural tradition has always used originally, obtaining excellent results also thanks to the smooth rhythm their typical sizes permit, both in the “herringbone” and “border tile” arrangements.
Due to their physical-technical characteristics, “Listelli” and "Specoal Formats"can be installed in interiors or exteriors. Laying in freezing areas is allowed if the material is correctly installed and does not undergo any other surface treatment.
For inside use the material requires a protective treatment in order to preserve the material’s original aesthetic and physical characteristics and to maintain the tiles unaltered over the years.
Mortar or glue.
After installation and grouting, acidwashing is requested to remove dirt, cement and efflorescences.
